You are very high up and the temperature is quite a bit lower. I was a bit cold. However the views made it well worth wild. The drive up is also interesting.

My sister and I started the hike 09:30 on a sunny day in January. The views were amazing. My sister was wearing Vans and it was still doable. The path has many rocks and sometimes there's a little bit of a climb, but nothing too...More

My esteemed spouse and I started in Praiano, near the center and hiked up..up..up..to the convent...and what a hike it is! Yes, you will be tired and your calves will hurt after, but to be so alone, to listen to the bells of the goats,...More

Not to be missed!!!! The path is reasonable and walking poles recommended. Not strenuous but do remember to stop and admire the view!

Got the bus from Amalfi to Bomerano then hiked up Nocella / Positano path. Easily my favourite activity on the coast. The views are absolutely stunning. Just wow. Just before you get to Positano, you walk down 1,700 steps or you can get a bus...More

There are few parking spaces. Better to go with the bus to Positano.
