Very easy to walk to from the town with plenty of cafes offering organised seating. There are also enough large gaps to sunbathe away from these with a few trees for shade too. Mini marts and bakeries are only minutes away so you can easily...More

I am sure the lifeguard has the best job on the island because this is without doubt the safest beach i have seen with an extended shallow section. Umbrellas and day beds are for hire and the sand is very fine. It's easy to source...More

Having hired a car to see the island and different beaches we all concluded this was our favourite on the doorstep of our hotel!

Busy beach as is the nearest to town, but still not overcrowded. At the south end, rent loungers from Flisvos, the watersports centre - they come with a locker to put valuables in whilst you are in the sea/napping.

Another nice beach in Naxos. Our hotel was about 100 meters from the beach. St. George is lined with one restaurant after another. Beautiful places along the way. This beach stretches all the way to harbor and the old town.

Nice gently shelving sea, beach sandy and clean. Busy, lots of sun loungers and umbrellas , a bit cheek by jowl but safe and family orientated . Restaurants and shops on/very close to the beach.

Beach is excellent for swimming, it’s very flat so it’s good for kids. There’s plenty of places to grab food and and umbrella. You can swim and snorkel from one side to the other

This was the beach nearest to my hotel; walked there on impulse, so that my first day on the island would not go without a swim. And a magical swim it was, even though it was windy and wavy and even though there was seaweed...More
