Wander the narrow alleys and get lost in the labyrinth. Make sure you stumble across the incredibly romantic "Naxos Cafe". And go up and see the Kastro lit up at night in all its glory.

We spent one short morning exploring the tiny streets of Naxos Old Town "Fantastic" It's cool on a hot day and photographers dream at anytime. Also there are lots of friendly cats to say hello to along the way. Next time we would like to...More

We were disappointed by the fact that the island seemed to be invaded by families and couples, so not the best destination for singles like us. However, the Old Town does lend itself to exploration, with many, many little streets on the hill over the...More

The gem of Naxos...so much fun walking around & taking in the sites, shops, food & drinks. Never felt too crowded. Restaurants were some of the best in Greece.

Its a beautiful place with beautiful people. Have to say that Naxosians are the most friendliest people ever. Loved it and would definitly go there again. Its optimum for families, however everyone can really enjoy it.

Twisty, whitewashed pirate alleys, tiny shops, flowery tavernas with tables set up in the alleyways, and photo ops from every angle, the Old Town is not to be missed. Great for restaurants, souvenir shopping, and just exploring.

Narrow, winding streets meander uphill through the quiet neighborhood with historic homes and gated gardens along the way. At the top is a wonderful museum with statuary and other items rescued from the harbor after being torn down by the Romans. Make sure you check...More

If you go to Naxos you have to visit a night to walk around in the city. So many small shops from which you can buy your souvenirs. Prices are high so choose carefully

It's very close - a 5-minute walk or so. Once you get into the old town, however, it can be quite tricky if you've got luggage, as the old town is all narrow winding streets with steps. Contact your hotel and ask them to... More

Bring a 4G portable wifi router with you and either bring your own plan, or better go for the best network in country, COSMOTE. A verified 4G capable network.
