Old Town is a part of the town, you really don't know when you enter. But the alleys are cozy and you could spend quite some time there, is like a maze! It's all for tourists of course but the people are very nice and...More

Many shops and historical places in this area. You may get a bit warm on a hot day if you visit midday. Some shops close for a midday siesta. Climb up the castle for more history.

You will almost certainly get lost in Naxos old town but that's the beauty of the place. There are gorgeous little shops and restaurants to explore, and lovely historic old houses and buildings. We loved our 3 day trip to Naxos and would definitely return.

Enjoyed our visit to the old town and castle. A trek up the stairs but worth the walk. Lovely restaurant upstairs for milkshakes. Lots of history and interesting museums along the way

Spent 5 nights in a hotel overlooking Naxos old town and loved it. Naxos is like Greece in miniature and the old town is very typical - narrow streets, lots of little shops and restaurants, though perhaps too many! Climb up to the top and...More

Old town in Naxos offers everything from nice Museums, historical buildings, picturesque corners for taking photos to nice shops and restaurants or bars. Even in great heat or heavy blowing Meltemi wind you may stroll there as the narrow streets offer shadow and protection. At...More

Sorry, realise I misread this although I think the same will still apply. I read it as visiting Santorini, not Naxos!
