What's not to like? I enjoyed my time in the Kastro immensely. Quiet, cobbled, narrow. Lots of nooks and crannies. flowers blooming everywher.

It's daidalean, mysterious and rich in history. You climb a 30m hill, pass through "Trani" door and you travel in time! Definetely bring your camera.

Visit the Kastro in the evening for a sunset concert. I went to a Jazz and Blues concert that was held inside the Kastro. The musicians were amazingly talented, Nikos the host is very friendly and welcoming, and the tastes of Naxos drinks go down...More

There are many boats to visit Naxos Island. Of course from Santorini port you can arrive into 3 hours with blue star ferries.
