Service was pleasant but slow as there was only one waitress for a full house. Recognsing we were tourists, thoughtfully she did bring us a book of old photos of Bacharach to fill in the time. We chose this place based on good reviews of...More

This very beautiful old house built in 1368 survived the big fires in the 19 century and stayed untouched till these days . Today hosts a very good restaurant .

We loved this restaurant. From its old world charm to the friendly and gracious waitress to the amazing food, everything was perfect. I loved that they had a smaller schnitzel size that wasn’t restricted to children. Husband got flammkuchen, which had looked like a pizza...More

Everything was great about this place. Cozy - classic German food. Pork Schnitzel was thin - nicely breaded - delicious. We had a side dish of potatoes- they looked like tater tots - crispy on the outside but mashed potato- creamy on the inside- delicious!...More

We only saw this building from the street as we were exploring Bacharach. It has a very picturesque, medieval exterior like so many of the other buildings in this lovely town. Visiting and exploring Bacharach was one of our favourite towns during our 3 week...More

Great meal and fabulous atmosphere in a historic building -- well worth the price. Oh, and very good service from our Polish waitress!
