We were the only people in this charming museum on a sunny morning in August. A great shame: a fascinating insight into a place with a surprising amount of history. Beautiful garden too.

A wonderful island with a rich history and great wildlife. So why such an average museum? Worth a quick tour, but the rest of the island is more worthy of your time. A missed opportunity in my view.

Well presented history of the island but it would have been nice to see more of the old building to which new museum is attached.

The great great grandfather of George Washington was from here! The Yorktown battlefield had been his farm. Well worth a trip, nice walks, fabulous food priced right, craft brews and red and white wines. Can't take a bad picture. Dave in TOSA,WI USA
