Very nice museum and distillery tour. Generous tasting at the end. Worth the stop and take time to have lunch in the town along the water

The Palais was built by the man who re-discovered the recipe for Benedictine, originally created by monks and then lost. He then built this stunningly complicated, elaborate palace for a factory.Try the sampoles, they're a lot of fun.

Well worth a visit, amazing building, considering it is a distillery. So much to see with a real eclectic collection. Because there is so much, would recommended taking a guided tour. Very interesting, and the bonus of a sample of Benedictine at the end, what's...More
