I think this is realistically the only way to get to and from Tatihou. Yes you can walk there at low tide but unless you are going to stay for 12 hours (to get the next low tide) you will need to take this amphibian...More

We took the amphibious craft as it was high tide. Not having been on this sort of craft it was an experience and a tick in a box.

Usually a two-way journey - depending on the tide, but it is possible to walk to or from St Vaast at low tide times (although you're still likely to get your feet wet!
