Was just passing through Arromanches on my way to the car ferry at Caen and spotted this place at the side of the road. Considering this shop specialises in military antiques and is situated in just about the most visited of places along the Normandy...More

After spending the day at Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery we made our way to Arromanches and found this store. It's small but there are several display cases of memorabilia in 2 rooms. Some items are very expensive but the owner (?) spoke English...More

Nice objects, some to expensive, other at the right price. The owner has a good knowledge and is an honest salesman.

The history of the area. Lovely towns and villages.good restaurants. Great accomodation. The military museums are very well worth a visit. The memorial gardens are very serene places The Bayeux Tapestry is a piece of history not to be missed

A little known but first class museum. The story of the Mulberry har or plus artifacts from all parts of D-day battle.

This shop has more stuff packed into it than some WW2 museums! The guy who runs it speaks English too and is really knowledgeable and what he is selling. He is getting in new items all the time. There really is something for everyone here...More
