A long, steep climb to the .bell tower of the church afforded jaw-dropping vistas of the cityscape and Lake Nicaragua – the world’s 20th largest.

This is a must do in Granada. Very young children are not permitted. Entrance is cheap. Stairs are windy, tight & steep. View is great. only criticism is it should be open all day & maybe in the night too.

Nice view of the town and Mombacho Volcano. It's worth the climb, as one is rewarded with 360 degree view.

This is an interesting relic of Managua but if you stay in a hotel near it, you will be hearing this thing all night. Yikes!

This was a pretty cathedral that gave you the feel of going back in time. For about a dollar you can climb to the bell tower and enjoy great views of Granada.

Loved the view of the city from the bell tower. It is truly remarkably picturesque and compact. Lovely parks and walks. Enjoyed this place and a good city with Byron, an excellent local guide.

We have gone at least a dozen times but have stopped going due to the attraction rarely being open. The stairs and rail really could use a new coat of paint.

Well, the church will most likely be open since they offer mass on Christmas day. As for the bell tower I am not quite sure if it will be open or not. However, if it is for $1 you can go to the top and see a spectacular view... More
