This area of Koh Chang offers budget accommodation, lots of local restaurants and small sandy beach, but it’s also a home to long pier for a variety of boats, local fishing ones and tourist oriented (day trips to nearby sites, diving). Limited parking for private...More

Already twice we visited this place down south of the island.
There is a large pier with many many shops, restaurants, resorts and at the end there is a lighthouse. From this point they make excursions by boats, go diving and snorkeling.

I agree with the previous answer. I had a car so getting around was easy. A motorcycle is a good option when not high season and readily available for hire. I chilled out and did a small amount of touring but 10 days is too long unless you are more interested in reading, chilling out and eating. Plenty of international cuisine and lots of bars around. As far as hotels and accommodation there are plenty of decent places from budget to more expensive on the various accommodation sites. Plenty of boat trip options available, elephant camp / ride or swim with elephant in ocean, waterfall and temple visit are also available. Enjoy however long you stay :)
