Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My first and probably only time at Martinsville. First the good, I loved my seat top row of turn 1. Saw the entire track and was comfortable from the blazing sun on a random 84 degree October Sunday. The bad? Everything else! Long lines everywhere, took 15 minutes to get into the track. The race itself was very boring, not kidding two fans were sleeping in my row. Now the absolute worst the parking. Thankful its free but the chaos leaving is some of the worst I've ever seen. I got a good head start on the majority of fans and I still couldn't get out. Apparently local police shut down the main road and didn't let people leave. I sat in the same spot for over two hours, with patience running thin. People were cutting each other off, cutting lines, all around disaster. That alone is reason to never return, it's not worth it.

Blue Ridge Twr. sect. K Row 27 were decent seats. Could see the score board as small as it is.

We were part of a bus, hotel package that worked out good. Looks like individual parking @ this track could be a challenge.

Hot dogs are a bargain @ $2. Could not find a water fountain anywhere but plenty of $4 waters.

The $30 Pre Race Experience was a total waste of $. Stay in the stands & you'll see more.

If I had my choice between Richmond & Martinsville I would go to Richmond.

Great racing. Be prepared to pack food in as the only food sold in the venue are their hotdogs. No options otherwise.

As a 32 year Nascar fan this was a bucket list track to attend. Loved the historical track and atmosphere. The pre race events and area were excellent with a-lot of events, live music, and many driver appearances. All of the staff pre, post, and during were helpful and friendly. We chose the Sky deck and i would highly recommend. The view was amazing and included food excellent in quality and quantity. Racing was as expected with a great finish watching Ross lay into around the wall to qualify. A mist attend event for any Nascar fan.

I visited with some relatives the modified race held in October. is a annual thing for our family. The race was fine. We always get the hot dogs just because it is a Martinsville Speedway tradition. I have been buying them for some 50 years. I was not pleased with the product. They make of them so I am sure it is a challenge.

I visited Martinsville Speedway for the most recent NASCAR race weekend. The track is easy to get to and has a family atmosphere. There was plenty to do in the fan fest and the track is easy to get into. I sat in Club 47 which was a great experience that included priority parking, box seating, full bar, and delicious food. This is a must visit track for any NASCAR fan.

great short track which was open to various Mustang clubs during the "end" of the covid restrictions. the gift shop was closed so i can not saying anything about that but being in the track was very special.

The track itself is a must-see for any fan as it has plenty of great seats and good racing. The famous hot dogs were nothing to brag about (not bad though).

Our hotel was near the Speedway. Martinsville Speedway is an International Speedway Corporation-owned NASCAR stock car racing short track and you could say it is Martinsville's claim to fame. It was originally built in 1947 but today has over 60,000 seats and VIP suits. The parking is free.
It is the shortest track in the NASCAR Cup Series but still it is a lot of action just more condensed. They unfortunately tolerate smoking in stands which deters part of the public.
During our stay in Martinsville there were no events at the Speedway and it was dormant. Still fun to see such a well known venue.

We love NASCAR and we had the opportunity to stop by this fantastic speedway. It has great views and the cars go super fast. VROOOOM is the word of the day. I highly recommend any race track in America and if you are nearby, check out Martinsville.
