Uh- the aquarium is not there anymore.....

Sadly, this place was knocked down by Hurricane Harvey. There are plans to rebuild and make it better than ever. By the way, all of the sea-life was saved as they were moved before the storm.

The Aquarium is gone. You can thank Hurricane Harvey for that. Rockport is working on recovery, so come here and enjoy what's here. The Aquarium will not be one of those things.

The Aquarium Was Completely Destroyed by Hurricane Harvey

I am sad to report that the Aquarium was completely destroyed when Hurricane Harvey hit Rockport with 130 mph winds on 8/25/17. All that is left of the building is its twisted steel structure. The exhibits are gone. It's going to be quite a while...More

Quick Trip to Aquarium

This place is great for kids! While not an extremely large place, there are some interesting things to see there. AND there is no charge to get in. They do ask for donations.
