This is a really old cobbled street lined with plenty of places to eat and drink. It has a fantastic atmosphere. Photo was taken early in morning but street normally really busy.

Along the top of Cervantes Square, it is definitely worth a walk up and down. It is all under an arcade... so it would be good on both a very hot, sunny day or a rainy day.

Not as famouse as any of the other touristic sites near Madrid, but in my opinion as beuatiful as the others. Perfect destination for a half day tour for those who wants to see a historical centre well preserved and not as crowded as Toledo/Segovia....More

Long street full of restaurants and shops, there are many terraces to have some food. As well, you can find the house museum of Cervantes with the two statues on the door. I recommend: going outside the old area to find cheaper restaurants

A long street lined with shops and some eating and drinking options, many people stroll around here. One of the main and most logical choices of places to se in Alcala.

Nice street with many little shops and a few "tapas" bars for a quick drink and snack. Today no through traffic makes it more enjoyable.

We were working near here and had bad experiences at 2 hotels nearer work so booked one in Alcala. What a beautiful surprise! Our hotel was minutes walk from this gorgeous street, loads of quaint shops and lovely bars and restaurants. The street comes alive...More

Hi there, the bars and restaurants will be open but not the shops. Being a Monday, usually a day of rest for restaurant owners, if you plan on visiting any specific restaurant I would check their web sight if they have one... More
