I visited the sculpture garden with a group of friends in January 2018. The art work ( for sale ) was astonishing, and the sites they had been put on display just as amazing. One needs to read the explanation to the works and not...More

A good idea and provides a reasonable nature walk for an hour or so - but a lot of the 'art' on display was pretty tacky. Just a few works were worth any consideration. Shame - but do visit if you're passing.

Wonderful experience! This is an easy, fun, sometimes interactive art trail located about an hour out of Auckland. Went for a little drive on a nice day and ended up here. The site includes a cafe, a huge selection of garden plants for sale--I would...More

We visited on our way back to Auckland from the Bay of Islands. Made a great change from the usual slog down state highway 1 and no traffic jams on the day before everyone goes back to work. Lovely gardens, amazing sculptures and friendly staff....More

Loved visiting these gardens, quite a unique place to visit and was recommended by friends. Sculpture was well presented in the gardens with some awesome views. The cafe sold yummy pies. Recommend you visit if in the area.
