We are a family run brewery. Established in 2013 we have a small team whom are very knowledgeable about our beers and beer in general. Open everyday from 11am we offer FREE tastings and a good selection of beers to take away and enjoy with family and friends.

Local microbrewery. Product availability depends on the current brew. You can taste de beer (it's free). Only to take away as there no place to sit and drink. Nice variety of beers. We tried the pale ale, IPA, lager and cider. All were good !

What a find this place is. Visited on the way to Takaka, Took away a few riggers then had to call in on the way home for more. The red IPA is a very fine beer indeed, although all were very good.

Some of the nicest craft beers I've tried. All very tasty, well balanced beers across the range. Staff have great knowledge which they willingly share. A welcoming friendly environment.

We initially stopped at the very excellent fruit farm opposite. Saw this place and took a peek. Very friendly dude behind the 'bar'. Bought a litre of the golden ale without sampling and oh my jeeeeesus this stuff is the shinizzle. Since getting back to the uk i have searched high and low for that taste. Please send some over here its in a different league.

We always try to #drinklocal so when we saw the Hop Federation tap room, we stopped right in! Super friendly team, great beer and complimentary tasting. Definitely stop in to try their brew and get a few to-go too! Cheers!!!

Hop Federation is a small family brewery. You can taste different beers here for free, such as Red IPA, Pale ale and Lager before you buy. They use local ingredients. Got a nice explanation of the brewery and the different beers from the friendly staff. Unfortunately you cannot visit the brewery itself. You can buy handy cans of beer. Lager was my favorite, a wonderfully refreshing beer. Cheers.

Great little brewery with a great range of tasty beers. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you like delicious beer it is well worth heading to Hop Federation. You can try all of the beers for free and they have a good selection of beers available for purchase.

The guy who served us was very clear about the ales and lagers being helpful and nudging us to a purchase decision. All in all a good place to make a local beer from the micro brewery.

What more could you need. Pies, real fruit ice cream and some great beer tasting over the road from this great brewery. These are great beers and great to see the local hops in action.
