Very fun & best part is free! Had a great time with children 2 & 4. Saw dolphins. Loved that there are places where no wind. Great views watching other ships. Fun!

Always fun free trip. Watch birds, boats, and dolphins. Kids enjoy feeding birds off the back or getting splashed by waves in front. Avoid busy times like work time rush, lunch, and holidays/weekends. 2pm on a Tuesday might be no wait at all, noon on...More

Every time we travel to Galveston from Louisiana, we bypass the Houston traffic and take the 15 minute fairy ride. Kids love feeding the seagulls at the back (Stern) of the fairy. It's the only place the crew allows feeding since the Seagulls tend to...More

We rode ferry with my grandson and had a great time. The wait was an hour but worth it. The ride back had no wait at all. We had lunch in Crystal Beach.

Always go on ferry. Great twenty minute ride with seagulls and you can watch dolphins swim by the ferry. Go over and turn around a mile up at Fort Travis, ride back. My kids and grandkids look forward to each.

It took 20 minutes until we could board the ferry, but then everything went smooth, fast and highly professional. I was surprised that nobody wanted us to charge von using the ferry, but in fact, it was free

This is by far the best experience for both visitors and locals. It's a peaceful ride from Galveston to Port Bolivar. Watch out for line jumpers on the Galveston side. Rude!
