Interesting to visit. After my visit I see why so many questions surface around President Kennedy's death. I would recommend making a visit walk through the School Book Depository, walk down Elm Street. It is well worth your time.

I stopped here to take some pics. It was very busy with a lot of hagglers begging to sell overpriced papers but I still enjoyed it.

This is not where JFK got shot, but down the street a little ways. It was a really neat monument when you enter it. It really does a great job of shutting off down town Dallas and makes you feel like you are in a...More

A small plot of land but an ocean of memories and emotions. The was a couple of people working the visitors to use them as tour guide. Don't fall for it.

The memorial is a bit controversial. In my opinion does not reflect what JFK was for the USA and the world. Probably you will be visiting the area, in that case take a couple of minutes in order to get your own opinion.

Very simple construction inside and outside. Need not more than 1/2 hour. Plenty of parking around. Open space

I was speechless walking through this memorial. I've seen it hundreds of times in pictures, video, film, but it's something else altogether walking the actual path and seeing the grassy knoll. Must see while in Dallas...it's an important part of our American History.

It is a very simple memorial. Not that that in and of itself is bad, but I walked past it on my way to Dealey Plaza and didn’t realize it. There’s nothing that really identifies it. I almost missed it on the way back. There...More

Very simple, understated memorial, non-pretentious, easily handicap accessible. Simple black stone engraved with JFK's name in middle of this simple white exterior walls.

Yep I went to the JFK Memorial Plaza while waiting for my tour bus to arrive. If you know the area so well then you know the tour company. To my family and myself the JFK Memorial seamed unfinished. And as you stated it is... More

I honestly don't know where the nearest one will be, but considering the size of this city, you'll be able to find one.
