This cemetery is to country music what forest lawn in Hollywood is to movie stars. George Jones, Tammy Wynette and Marty Robbins to name a few. Little Jimmy Dickens already has a marker waiting for him. Interesting enough for a few hours visit.

A wonderful place that is very serene and very well kept. Many, many graves of country music stars. the most beautiful grave site is that of George Jones.

What do you even say?!?! This was such a lovely place. The amount of talent that is in one place, sad to see it is really gone. Do check it out if in the area!

We enjoy visiting the final resting places of famous people, so on our recent trip to Nashville, we did just that! Woodlawn Cemetery is beautiful, quiet, peaceful, serene. The gardens are gorgeous and well maintained. Our mission was to find one of our faborites, George...More

We visited here, it was absolutely beautiful! The only thing we needed was some type of a map. We drove around and got out and walked a good bit.
