The house is well maintained and so authentic. Pictures are allowed (without flashes), which was a welcome surprise. I highly recommend that you read Tamera Alexander's Belmont series books before going. Be sure to go down to the Bell tower.

Located on the University ground, parking for visitors, it is the story of a very rich lady married 3 times and enjoying life. Her decorating taste is quite different and busy. Photos allowed .Deserves a stop.

We liked walking around the neighborhood before attending out tour. The tour guide was very knowledgable about the historic pieces in the house as well as the mansion. We enjoyed learning about the history of the home along with the former residences.

Like most southern tours, you get an hour of what a great lifestyle these people had and about 10 seconds acknowledging that their wealth was accumulated by exploiting hundreds of human beings. It was sickening.More

We enjoyed our tour of the Belmont Mansion. Our guide was very passionate and informative about the history. It was certainly worth the price of admission.

What an extraordinary mansion with lots of historic authentic pieces of furniture. They start a tour every 30 min. The mansion is located at the Belmont university campus that is so peaceful and nice to walk around. Definitely worth it to visit when in Nashville.
