i went on a rainy day and despite getting drenched i still found the walk very enjoyable with the pathway flanked by huge trees. it is a very easy walk, flat all the way.

The walk begins at the Trentham railway station. The first 10 minutes of the walk is in full sun but the rest is shady and a gentle walk.
We only saw a few others on the trail. Take plenty of water and some snacks.
Very easy walk. Not fully recommended after heavy rain though. Diversion about 2km from Lyonsville. Bridge over Coliban river still to be restored. There is a walkway installed. But not long enough to cater for water from heavy rains. You either get your feet wet...More
