We stopped here on our walk to Fort Nepean. Worth the stop to get a perspective of how the fort defences for Melbourne were laid out. There are signs detailing areas of interest. If you take the shuttle bus you can get off here first...More

We visited Fort Pearce on our walk to point Nepean. Hard to believe it was buried under tons of sand and was only dug out resently. Great place to explore.

Really interesting from a WW 1 and 2 historical perspective. Great views and amazing waves. Easy, unexciting walk.

Fort Pearce is a part of Point Nepean. I enjoyed looking at every place from one end to the other. Exploration of the whole park is necessary to get a great look at the military history of the area.

You visit Fort Pearce on your walk from the Quarantine Station to the end of Point Nepean. It is a bleak but stunningly beautiful part of the Victorian ocean coastline. It is fascinating to see the military architecture built into the bleak cliffs and to...More

If you don't want to walk to the end of Point Nepean from Gunners Carpark it is well worth hopping off the shuttle at Fort Pearce and exploring the Fort (not time consuming, excellent signage). Then make the short but very spectacular walk to Point...More

This is a free park and is where both world wars started , quite an amazing part of the world, the history here is so open but very peaceful it makes you think. I loved it.
