Spectacular gardens of unexpected variety. Rhododendrons of course but so much more. Camelias , flowering fruit tree's, helebores, mountain ash, bulbs galore, tropical vireyas, the list could go on and on. Great views over the valley. The shop is being renovated and the site has...More

Although we went in the middle of winter, so colours were in short supply, it was still beautiful to see the gardens, the layout, the peace and general calmness of the place. I reckon any time of the year is perfect for a visit here....More

My husband and I love wandering through these beautiful gardens, every season there is something different to see. It was a cold day when we were there, but there were still lots to see. We’ll be back in Spring.

This garden is nicely laid out and will be stunning in a few weeks when spring arrives. Area is around 100 acres. Walking is mostly on sealed paths and pleasantly undulating. Still good for a brisk walk to the lookout without a lot of blossom...More

Loved the gardens, and the variety in the plants. Spotted a lyrebird. Will come back in another season and enjoy again for sure

Stunning place to visit at any time of the year and no charge to enter. Take your time to explore the pathways and see the amazing flora & fauna. Great exercise and wonderful photo opportunities. Well worth a visit, don't miss out.

The National Rhododendron Gardens are beautiful in Autumn. I am sure that they are at least as good in Spring, but I haven't yet managed to get there at any other time of year. The Autumn colours are stunning, not something that you can see...More

It was a cool and sunny day and a walk around these gardens is a must. In autumn, the red leaves make excellent hues that photographs do not do justice. It is a great spot to travel and visit for sure.

I was there on a very wet autumn day and it was still delightful. I believe the Rhododendrons are out in November, so it would be even more stunning then.
