These gardens were breathtaking as all the rhododendrons were out in flower. Such a peaceful environment to walk and relax in. Free to enter, do yourself a favour and visit. Allow 1-2hrs to take it all in. We also enjoyed a coffee on the terrace.

We visited the National Rhododendron Gardens today and what an incredible display. The Rhododendrons, Azaleas, beautiful trees,great walkways that ensure you miss nothing. The pond and the whole area is a credit to whoever puts their time and hard work into it. Congratulations it's beautiful.

A lovely way to spend an hour or two winding among the trees and shrubs enjoying the flowers in bloom. Even a bit of inclement weather won’t spoil the visit if you are equipped for it. Definitely good for little kids.
