A wonderful example of an ageless tree splendid in its size, foliage and presence. Well worth a look and a photo!

We stopped here briefly to read about the tree... Yes it's big and probably worth a visit as it doesn't take long at all. The largest river red gum in the district.

Contemplating this grand, old gnarled masterpiece of creation was humbling. It only takes a few minutes to walk from the town centre. Anybody who thinks “so what, it’s just an old tree” needs their head read!

Just 150 metres off the main road through town, its a tree and its big. Have a look if you have the time but it is hardly the most exciting landmark in the area.

I only had slight interest in this old tree. Nothing else there besides the tree but it is something to do when you are in town or passing through and need a stretch break

Great to pass this tree and contemplate what it has "seen" over its lifetime. Roads and development have managed to avoid it so far. I wonder for how much longer ? Go see it.

An amazing tree. Pays to stop and just take in the site and to read all the facts about it. Nice seating nearby to just enjoy the site.

It is interesting to see a tree this size. Some notes about it on the main road at the Rotary tourist info board.

Only a short distance up the road from main shopping centre, so worth the walk. Very old over 200 years old.
