Now Lake Mountain is a fun family place for cross country skiing,or just tobogganing.It has a great eatery and great views the 2009 fires totally killed the Alpine gums it has a weird but nice feel now,

Visited Lake Mountain in early August, so not too cold. It’s a long drive from Docklands but manage to make it there in great time. Entry fee is around $50 something per car and well worth it. Such a beautiful scenery and great for family...More

Had an amazing day at Lake mountain. 8cm of snow fell overnight so conditions were perfect for tobogganing and playing in the snow. The cafe serves many food options and yummy hot chocolate to warm up on a cold day. Will be back next year...More

My sons first snow trip and he loved it. The toboggan runs are great for all the family. The cafe is reasonably priced and the staff were all friendly.

Lake Mountain is a great place for families who want to have fun and ski at a beginner's to lower intermediate level. Relatively affordable. Close to Melbourne. Great staff.
