It is a historic old street but it does not live up to the hype. Some of the restaurants are average at best, the shops selling stuff you do not want and the buildings now of varying quality. It could be better.

This is a nice street with a really broad selection of different restaurants and cafes as well as boutiques and antique stores. It is worth a stroll if you are in town or passing through.

I eat in Piper St regularly and have to say it has an amazing selection of restaurants which feature a lot of local produce and wine. Some of my favourites are: Source dining, The Parkland, Little Swallow, St Bean and Major Toms. Around the corner...More

What a fab dining experience. The food was delightful, catered for our fussy eaters and the coffee made me come back day after day. There was colouring for the children and reading for mum and dad.

Just an hour away from Melbourne CBD Piper street in Kyneton is for you. There are galleries, nurseries, antique shops, restaurants, cafes and providores - great way to spend a Sunday

Piper Street, Kyneton, is a succession of wonders -- from its quaint and fascinating museum, its outstanding antiques stores, and its riverside walks to the peacefulness and solitude of its captivating character. Regular rambles provide a pleasurable break for both residents and visitors.

A walk up the street on a winters day - perfection - beautiful shops, beautiful food! Don’t miss out on duck duck goose, animus distillery and little swallow cafe. Source dining is not to be missed - 5 stars!!!

Piper Street is always delightful for a leisurely stroll, you will always find a new place just opened or very reliable old favorites to revisit, lots of great eateries, antique & art shops.
