The NED KELLY MUSEUM is part of KATE'S COTTAGE GIFTS SOUVENIRS MUSEUM & replica of the KELLY HOMESTEAD. Step through back of shop to the NED KELLY MUSEUM and an authentic replica of the Kelly Homestead... like the words of the song ... truly the "ramshackle hut" . Excellent historic coverage of the Kelly era. Rated 'The Best Ned Kelly Museum" by Getaway and featured on their show at least three times. Somehow this one business has two separate listing for TripAdvisor reviews. Would you kindly take the time to review both KATE'S COTTAGE and the NED KELLY MUSEUM ? Thanks to all travellers who took the time to review us.

Ned Kelly and his final stand at Glenrowen are part of Australia's folklore. The Ned Kelly Museum is a great place to visit with kids to provide them with a better understanding of the Kelly Gang and their exploits.

Museum and cottage well worth the visit. Fascinating information available with displays, illustrations, photographs and memorabilia. Cottage was interesting, bedding and clothing on display was very grubby, could have done with some form of cleaning and redisplaying, however hard to accomplish when open 7 days...More

It was unfortunate that it was such a hot day when we visited but it is a very interesting museum, giving a reasonably balanced account of this episode in Australia's history. The replica of the Kelly Homestead (Ned's parents' home) gave an excellent flavour of...More
