Lovely spot and when in season, grab the mussels fresh off the boat! Absolutely delicious and great value for money!

Ocean pure - windy, raff and blows your head off (literally). Would be a perfect spot to go fishing and swimming in summer.

The pier is long and full of keen fishing fans Saw one being caught much to the excitement of the lucky fan The water is blue below A number of boats are moored alongside the pier A great way to spend a lazy afternoon

Nothing much here, just a pier and some beach. Beach is usually covered in dead seaweed, it would be so much nicer if it was cleaned up but that is nature for you. I loved walking up and down the pier, watching the fishermen/women patiently...More

The pier is in good repair and walking out provides a good perspective of the area. Seems to be a good fishing spot based on the number of people dropping a line. The surrounding beach area is uninviting.

It is a nice, long pier and is a wonderful place to have a walk, do a little fishing or just sit and enjoy the view. It is not far from the town centre, 2 minutes by car or a 15 minute walk.

Walked Flinders Pier last week with husband and grandson. Tide was in and we saw lots of boats and several people fishing from the pier. Great views of Westernport bay and Phillip Island. Car parking was ample as it was mid week. Toilets are available....More

Flinders is a nice, fairly quiet, small Victorian seaside town. The pier is said to be good for fishing the beach is rather stony, but there's some great coastal scenery around Flinders.

Ok pier to visit. Not a lot of cafes or places to eat. Very quiet which is great if that's what you're after.

We were in Flinders so went for a walk along the pier. Parking is adjacent and at the time of our visit there were plenty of spaces. Nothing special but a pleasant walk.

Seafood are always readily available here in Tasmania, only issue is big or less, big or small sizes. Understood that Sep-Oct are more "off-season". Should be able to find them. Enjoy your stay in Tasmania.
