Great community museum located in a wonderful architectural gem dating from 1876. Interesting and varied collection very well presented. It also has regular special exhibitions, often to do with the famous Lindsay family of artists.

Located in the old Creswick Town Hall, this museum has 8 separate rooms of history about notable families like the Lindsay's and Peacock's, the goldfields and nearby towns. Fantastic history of Creswick and district on display. This includes art works, artefacts' etc. They have a featured theme on display which changes 3 or 4 times each year. One of the best Museums I've seen.

interesting museum, staff are very friendly very nice and clean - well maintained. lovely crochet poppies by the door. not expensive for entrance - i think it was only some donation.
