This beautiful railway station dates from 1885 or so and is in what became known as the 'Casterton style.' It is fenced off on one side although one could walk along the platform with a bit of effort. The last train was on 4 February...More

Wandering here shows you how important the Railway was commercially. The buildings need a lot of TLC and vision - it will come.

We walked from our accommodation in the hope of visiting this station which houses the museum, but it is by appointment only. Everywhere around looked neglected & we were sorry that the old buildings appeared to be unloved with the exception of Bill's Shed.
