Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I visited this place for a long walk along the beach, during our recent holiday in Torquay where we stayed for two nights.

In all our previous trips along the Great Ocean Road (eight trips over the years), we had never visited this place before, as our focus was on the main highlights along various parts of the Great Ocean Road.

We are very glad we decided to visit Point Roadknight. It is very scenic and secluded with many unique rock formations.

We will visit again sometime in the future.

A cracking spot for locals or tourists.
Surfers, family, young kids all catered for.
Protected bay with mostly excellent & safe surf breaks.
Otherwise just a beautiful seascape to relax and watch.

Lots of walking tracks around the headland and rocks and a good patrolled beach, this is an all seasons beach with plenty of options for all.

Cracking spot to bring a family.
Gentle surf, good fishing. rock rambling or just a nice beach walk.
Local paramedics had same idea as me. Park car, sit, eat lunch and enjoy the beauty.

I came down to Anglesea with my family. This beach was a nice short walk from where I was staying. The walk there had some really nice lookouts so I would recommend !! The beach it’s self was so beautiful, the sand was easy to walk on and the water was amazing. It wasn’t too busy when I went, nice and quite.

This is a family beach where young and old can swim and laze in the sun in a pleasant, not so crowded, relaxed atmosphere. There is a handy kiosk, and the beach is patrolled all through summer.

I walked the track from Anglesea to Point Roadknight. It was a very pleasant walk and the Point itself is amazing with its incredible cliffs and rock formations. Loved it.

Great - fairly quiet spot for a picnic or swim, but in terms of scenery or big waves, or watching surfing... not much here.

More of a quiet of the track get away beach.

The beach at Point Roadknight looks quite good for families. But we were there just to walk to the end of the Point and take in the interesting views. There is nothing as dramatic as the scenery further along the Great Ocean Road but there are still many interesting features. At the end of the Point, there was a small colony of Hooded Plover birds - these are protected - no dogs are allowed on the beach. We were able to observe from a distance and take some beautiful photos.

A great family beach, but not for those looking for the big surf. Stay to the right of the boat ramp for swimming. The left of the boat ramp is a nice walk but the cliffs are unstable so don’t get too close. Nice coffee at the cafe, which is outdoors and shaded. Fantastic for young families.
