An iconic lighthouse from my favourite show as a child - Round the Twist! Also has a great view of the ocean

We parked in the carpark at the top of the road near the lighthouse, so it was an easy walk to the lookout. The lighthouse itself is stunning as is its location and views. Well worth a visit when in the area.

This is an impressive lighthouse - size and location. Normally we think a lighthouse is a lighthouse but this one is sizeable and in a great location at Aireys Point along what is called the Shipwreck Coast. It's 34 metres tall and there are great...More

There is a steep gravel road going up to the lighthouse for leaving handicapped people on top, but the parking is down below at the bay. Walking along the beach is very nice. To entre the lighthouse special times are indicated. The walk on the...More

Another well maintained lighthouse on the GOR. Scenic location and just a short walk from the car park. We didn’t do a tour but enjoyed the scenic coastal views. Nice coffee shop nearby.

The lighthouse is easy to find on the drive up the great ocean road. Sadly you can’t get in unless you pay for a tour at allotted times. There are little lookouts close by with beautiful views of the coast.More

Hi Stagmouth. Thanks for your review. Split Point is a lighthouse in beautiful condition and it's a fully functioning navigation aid to shipping. The Maritime Safety Authority runs the lighthouse and we run the tours for the community. Our staff are professional and trained and...More

The official parking area for the lighthouse is a narrow dirt no through road. We joined the end of the angled parking, near the end of the road and went to see the lighthouse. On our return there was a parking ticket on the car...More

Great to visit a Lighthouse....popped here after lunch at the local Greek Restaurant and before we stayed with friends in Fairhaven. Glad we did as we could see the lighthouse from our balcony whilst we stayed...
