North head commands magnificent views of both Sydney Harbour and The Tasman Sea. It is relatively unspoilt despite centuries as a defence zone, which also has enabled it not to be over-built. It can be reached by car, bicycle or bus, and has wonderful facilities...More

If you are travelling here, make sure you take some binoculars. At the right time of year you can spot whales from the lookout points. We saw a pod of three whales clearly. The walk is lovely but has been fenced in to keep people...More

Probably the best view of the harbour and city from the north side. You can take the bus from Manly or it would be an hours walk. The view is sensational

June 22, 2018– A resident brought us here in his car. There was a bus stop for city buses from and to Sydney downtown. It took a while to get there using a car. I guess it would take much longer using city bus. Good...More

North Head is a lovely unspoilt area to visit. Bus Service 135 runs hourly but drop off and pick-up points few and far between in walking tracks area which could be easily improved. Trail direction signs could stand a bit of improvement as we didn't...More

Hopped on the Sydney ferry from Circular Quay to Manly and transferred to the local bus service 135 to the North Head Walk. It would be good to drive because the bus service comes hourly. Easy stroll with crisp cool air.

My colleague dropped me at the top of the North Head and I hiked down from there. A nice collection of maintained trails at the top made for easy going. Venturing off on some of the smaller, primitive trails led to a spectacular overlook of...More

A must for a spectacular view over icinic Sydney harbour, however there are now fees for parking in the area now, as eems to be the case all over Manly. A day ticket may be used in other national Parks for the day.

Start out at Manly Beach and walk the ocean path to Shelly Beach and then through to North Head. The scenery is great and the views of the city stunning. Allow adequate time as there are a number of paths and viewing points and the...More

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants

Hi. Well, you better to get uber or taxi to drive you there. It's a long walk and mainly uphills also through the national park you will have quite a bit of walking. Hope this help:)
