This spot at the entrance to the beautiful Port Hacking River gives a great vantage point to look across to Bundeena & Jibbon Beach & either out to sea or down the river. You will see lots of boats coming & going especially on weekends....More

Wanted to go for a walk overlooking the water!! So good . You can walk to the left and walk towards cronulla or to the right and go for a totally different walk a bit harder but lovely. A must to take visitors to.

Nice spot to look out over the Hacking River estuary to Jibbon beach and Bundeena...there are grassy areas nearby for a picnic and a small beach for a quiet swim in usually very clear water. A nice public toilet is also nearby and a small...More

The Hundreds & Thousands who in a given week walk the Esplanade probably give this spot a passing nod without acknowledging the history ? In March 1796 the "Tom Thumb" with it's erstwhile occupants made the first passage up the Hacking by the new neighbours...More
