Friendly landlord & staff. Excellent food & so very reasonable priced (cheap to this city dweller)- can recommend the Aleppo Burger, fabulous! Drinks seemed cheap to us, with a three course meal for 2, with drinks & wine £58!

We walked here for a meal when we stayed in the area and found it to be a lovely local pub. The staff were friendly, our meals were good & the prices were decent too.

We enjoyed a very substantial and really tasty lunch today - duck breast with dauphinoise potatoes and a lovely tangy sauce along with succulent belly pork, mustard sauce and creamy mash. Very reasonably priced, good food and good service.
