About
The Welsh coastline has many contrasts and really does offer something for everyone. From cliff top strolls to estuarine wanders, picturesque fishing villages to vibrant cities, industrial heritage to unconquered castles, desolate windswept beaches to bustling seasides. The Wales Coast Path not only takes you through the Welsh landscape, it takes you through its heritage and its communities. The Pembrokeshire section is home to the iconic and world-class landscape of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and wildlife rich islands. The Path (which has National Trail status here) passes through some of Britain's most spectacular and breathtaking scenery, including 58 beaches and 14 harbours and the UK's smallest city - St Davids.

    Wonderful Views
The costal path offers opportunities to stay high, or climb down to beaches and inlets. We walked for several days across different terrains and never felt bored. Parking can be a challenge, depending where you want to walk) but thee are lots of choices if you plan ahead.

    Breathtaking and beautiful
2 days of taking in the beauty of part of the Welsh coast which never disappoints us. We did 3 areas. First around Solva to St David's, then around St Justine and finally Whitesands. The breathtaking beauty of the coastline of Pembrokeshire National Park is second to non for it's natural ruggedness just keeps you captive and thankful to all creation offers. Enjoy it but be mindful that you need appropriate footwear, water and also due to weather changes it's advisable to take a waterproof jacket etc.

    views galore.
A truly wild and wonderful coastline to explore for short and long walks, with stunning views of the sea crashing into granite cliffs. The paths are well set and maintained but you will need good footwear throughout and be prepared for strong winds some days. It felt safe on all three walks we went on, with the highlight being from Whitesands Bay to St Davids Head and beyond to Arthur's Quoit. Buses can take you to various spots along the Pembrokeshire Coast from St Davids.

A three hour hike following the coastal path westward towards Solva along the Pembrokeshire coast.
We were fortunate to have the best possible weather for this hike.
We enjoyed magnificent views, steep ascends and declines.
After the hike we enjoyed a well deserved drink in Solva, a lovely town with nice pubs, cosy harbour and great vibe

Stunning. Best coastal paths, well looked after with amazing views. If you can do it even if it’s just a little bit.

My favourite coast path ever! I love walking here, especially in spring time when the wildflowers are at their best. Stunning views and lots of lovely coves and beaches to explore.

Fantastic walk and incredible views across the coastal path from strumble head to fishguard, although the walk is just over 3 1/2 miles the terrain was difficult at times.

We started in Dale, taking a cab from Milford Haven. We used the Encounter Walking service which booked our rooms and took our luggage from place to place. We did things at a decent pace of 12-17 miles a day. There was one windy day from Broad Haven to Solva which was a bit nasty but overall we had a great time for a retired couple from Iowa.
