Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Most disappointed. I tried to book a walk with Oriel y Parc but there were none being walked this week. The gentleman who runs them fits them in with his work but he’s unavailable now. Pretty disappointing as this is high summer at the peak of the school holidays.

Hi Jimmy Firstly, apologies for the very late response to your review and secondly I am sorry that I was unavailable to guide you on a walk last summer. Sadly, I have had a prolonged period of ill health, commencing in early July last year and therefore I was not in a position to continue my guided walks. Happily I am much better now and am hoping to pick up where I left off so, if you visit St Davids in the future, I hope I will be able to show you some of the wonderful history of this special city. Kind regards Peter

Such a nice and charming place, looks like been stop in time, amazing. Is great to take 1-2hrs walk between old buildings, get the local pasty from the street seller and just take a seat on the bench. So calming.

Peter and I communicated extensively before my trip to Wales. Peter met me at my hotel, arriving early. We reviewed my itinerary, which was somewhat unusual. During the six hours we spent together, Peter made a point of pointing out every aspect of the wildlife, geography, and interesting historical notes. The trip was fascinating and Peter was a tremendous guide. I recommend him very, very highly. He will make anybody's vacation in Pembrokeshire tremendously memorable.

My wife and I were met at our hotel by Peter. We had a wonderful two hours walking around St David’s. Peter has photographs from the turn of the 1900’s and compares them to the present day Cathedral and city centre. Peter is very knowledgeable, friendly with a good sense of humour. The pace of tour was just right and he has a real passion for the area. All in all a very informative two hours. Thank you Peter!
