Had a stroll round here to kill some time. All of us found something interesting to look at, the kids enjoyed what was under the stairs! Well worth the money, the volunteer here was so friendly and engaging.

Brought the kids and partner. Very fun and informative. Staff were well informed and parted knowledge in engaging way. Would pop up the hill again to check our museum and ruins again :)

The museum, though small, is full of interesting artefacts and information, particularly related to the adjacent castle and former prison. Exhibits go as far back as Roman times and give a real flavour of the history of Haverfordwest which is not evident from driving/walking through...More

This is a little gem of a local museum and the splendid staff of volunteer ladies are very proud of it and justifiably so. Would highly recommend a visit as it is so very interesting, thank you ladies!

The museum is located within the grounds of the castle, and is absolutely worth a visit. Though small, it amply makes up for it by having so many interesting exhibits and artifacts, including finds from Haverfordwest Priory, and a display on the plague of 1652....More

Never visited this small but very interesting museum before. Situated in a house in the castle grounds it provides a history of Haverfordwest and the surrounding area in group of interconnected rooms. Made better by a very willing Curator - Simon - thank you.

The museum was just the right size, telling the story of the town in a number of themed rooms - without overdoing any subject. The staff were very helpful, giving an added perspective to the formal displays. Highly recommended.

Although this museum appears to be small at first, there is a surprising amount of exhibits. There is a wide range of exhibits covering the history of the castle, prison and local history, some of which are amusing. It is well set out with just...More
