We walked from from Tywyn to Aberdovey along the beach which took us at a fast pace 1 hour and 15 minutes each way. We covered 20000 steps! Returning from Aberdovey we tried following the coastal track using the OS map which was somewhat difficult...More

Had a lovely walk along Tywyn beach. It was March so it was cold... but we had a sunny day. Beach is well kept and clean. Seeing the petrified peat bogs and tree stumps is fascinating. Lovely walk!

I visit this beach regularly, love its long coastal walk from Tywyn to Aberdovey, just look for the low & high tides and take a walk, old Peat farm and Bunkers to walk past, some of the best summer sunsets ive seen, worth a visit,

A very enjoyable walk by the sea at Tywyn, a sunny blustery morning, some huge waves, not a lot of people about, really exhilarating, loved it.

Bleak, grey and concrete. Limited facilities and amenities. Mainly a front to a large static caravan site before moving into the very edge of town

Yes but you must take all rubbish with you and ensure no hot ashes are left etc. I would also remove any food scraps too if you can. Many people build their own small fires on the beach, as the further towards Aberdovey... More
