We had an excellent visit as part of my girlfriends birthday celebrations. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were well appointed and loads of information about the contents. The gardens out the back were a pleasant surprise. Well worth a visit.
We stayed in Ruthin overnight and we decided to give this attraction a try after walking past it several times. It is very deceiving from the outside because when you get inside it's much bigger than expected and there's so much history to see.
Each room is more interesting than the last with plenty of historical artefacts and information. The garden has been landscaped and provides a restful, relaxing space after your tour inside. We particularly enjoyed watching the bats on the webcam.
