Worth a drive along the Menai Straight the bridge was pretty too. Drive 15-20 minutes to get the the lighthouse and there’s a McyDs too to fill up on.

A really enjoyable experience and a brilliant insight into the great minds of both Thomas Telford and Robert Stephenson. The staff were also very informatove and had a sense of real pride at the wonder of both bridges. Highly reccomended.

As a Menai Bridge boy, I am particularly interested in its history - and this museum does not disappoint! Friendly, very knowledgeable staff, great exhibits in the former National School.

DVD explaining the story behind Thomas Telford helped everything slot into place - a lot of information and really interesting exhibits - well worth a visit - only open on Wed & Thur each work though!

I live on Anglesey and the choir I belong to use the Telford centre as a rehearsal room. The museum is quite small and dedicated to Thomas Telford and his work on the Menai suspension bridge. Some good photographs and lots of information. Mainly written...More
