We took a short walk to the island along the promanade to the island. I was amazed that a church had been there since 630AD. We walked up to the cenotaph with spectacular views of the bridge.

What a beautiful place. My father was from Anglesey and I had never been to this lovely place just below the bridge. You walk across a stone walkway from the land to this little island. The church is old and so beautiful, it's not big...More

When in Menai Bridge, I made the effort to wander through the woods behind Waitrose supermarket, to try and find this hidden gem. Across a causeway slightly smelly with estuarine mud, the island itself made for a lovely peaceful walk round the graveyard, a contemplative...More

This is next to Horseshoe Falls. Hidden parking and a path leads to the Falls. It is a living graveyard so careful as weeds are everywhere and so are holes.

There is a car park, there is a waitrose car park - do not park there. Just a little further along - a matter of yards, there is a car park it is not free but not expensive. Then you are at the top of the path leading down... More
