Spent an hour at this location and found it very interesting. Entry price includes audio ! good use of story boards to depict local issues relevant to the times, would be good to see more reference material available to research if possible.

My husband and I visited and we loved it. I would advise to take the audio guide as it’s very informative. You have the opportunity to touch and sit on the bench or beside the judge or in the witness box. Very much a hands...More

Doesn't look much from the outside, but step into the courthouse and be amazed with what you see and learn. I was fortunate to go midweek in early part of season and had the place virtually to myself - get there for opening time. A...More

This venue could be made more interesting if it identified in a better manner. You are given phones but the numbers appertaining to each individual site was not very clear and didn't flow, we were covering the same room twice. Again a map would have...More

It's a small place but worth a half hour to visit. The audio guide is very good. A real insight into how courts were conducted in the past.

Audio guide included in the price. Well presented, but untouched attraction. Sitting in the seats makes you realise that people must have needed an upright back!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this visit, but this is a fantastic example of a 200 years old courthouse. I am not sure that there is another like it. It really gives you an idea of what a court might have been like...More
