A gem of a beach (Blue flag status) about a half mile from the centre of Pwllheli town. Mix of sand and shingle, dog friendly on designated areas, very clean, patrolled by a warden during the summer months (well worth having a chat with him...More

Having driven the whole of the Prom, noticing brand new properties along the whole length we noticed the absence of anything remotely interesting apart from sand dunes! There seems to be a lack of investment- no shops, no bars, no cafes, nothing for children!

Nice sand beach and prom to visit. Close to town centre but lovely area with plenty parking. Found parking area large enough to use ramp to get mobility scooter out of van which was great. Enjoyed going along the paths by the beach on scooter.

Lovely long stretch of beach with bags of room for everyone. Enjoyed a couple of days walking along the beach whist our son had a ball jumping the waves. Beach was very clean and parking hereby with pay and display at a very cheap price.
