We travelled from Hafan y Mor along many winding single track lanes to Plas yn Rhiw. Unfortunately, the house was closed due to high winds of the previous day. I am not sure why this house needs to be closed due to high winds anyway....More

We were brought up in the 1950s, so many of the artefacts of this house brought back memories. Not a spectacular NT house and garden, but it made an enjoyable visit on an unseasonally pleasant day.

It’s not so much the property as the story that makes this place stand out. Three altruistic sisters from Nottingham and their desire to keep the local countryside unblighted by overhead power lines and nuclear power. The propert itself is National Trust (gifted by the...More

Very quaint house bequeathed by a family, and full if their personal belongings. Lively gardens. Nice woodland walk. Helpful guides.

One of the most distinctive NT properties, preserved just as the Keating sisters left it. Wonderful combination of family home and artistic scene-setting with a fine view over Porth Neigwl from the splendid gardens.

After taking annual holidays around Aberdaron for over 30 years, we decided to visit this house as the day was quite overcase and showery. It is set on the beautiful Welsh coast and has its own car park which is just below the location of...More

Although I've visited the Llyn Peninsula many times I'd not visited this National Trust property. Despite it being a damp, dreary day, we had a great time there. The gardens are lovely and were great for playing hide and seek with the grandchildren! The views...More
