We travelled from Fairbourne to Harlech on a couple of days to play golf. The toll bridge definitely shortened the journey at a very small cost, 70p each way I think.

Wooden historic foot and road bridge with 20p toll for pedestrians. Superb views and nice pub at one end. Worth wandering over combined with longer walk and pub lunch. Car park.

It’s a bridge. A nice bridge. It’s a toll bridge so you pay to use it. It took me across the water and I got to the other side.

When we travel back to our cottage we have a choice to go over the bridge or drive round. For £0.70 it cuts off about 3 miles. But it’s such a lovely historic little bridge. Built from wood and very well maintained. The attendants are...More

Came across it by accident, not an expensive experience; plus side kids loved it! Glad it’s still operational, it’s a great pit stop.

This short cut from Dolgellau to Barmouth is well worth the 70p it costs to go across. The toll staff were all friendly and it is a beautiful short cut across the upper reaches of the Mawddach estuary with fabulous views. Lovely to see the...More

It’s good to see the old Toll Bridge still exists and at one end are the remains of the old Railway Station, signal box, the line itself and one of the old signals. It’s a pity there’s still a charge to cross it !
