Although it was October it was a mild sat and considering was the day after storm Callum we were very surprised by how clean the beach was, no rubbish or plastics at all. It's a mostly pebble beach with some fine Sandy places. There are...More

Dogs are allowed on a section of beach all year and on all after September out if season. A lovely walk along the stoney beach with the sun glistening a few people on there with dogs but all very good

Maybe this is not a traditional review, but when we went here in September it was completely unsuitable for the main purpose of a beach - bathing -, but we made the most of it: it was middle-of-the-night, with no clouds, amazing moonlight and reflecting...More

Love this lovely gem of a place. Beautiful scenery with a flat walking area ideal for us getting older. A good range of coffee shops and restaurants. The castle and Life boat station are well worth a visit

Criccieth is a little gem of a place. I love the beach as you can enjoy yourself without the crowds that gather on other nearby beaches. With it being quite compact you can visit the castle and local shops too.

We had a walk along the promenade each evening after dinner. It is nice and flat, but getting to it is a bit hilly. But if you are in a car there are plenty of parking spaces.we had some lovely sunsets while were there

Nice clean beach with paths available to walk along. Goes through the small town at one end where the shops are located.

What a place to sit and have your morning fry-up, a view to die for, it doesn't get better. Breakfast was well priced and plentiful, try it for yourself 👍😀

A very clean beach with interesting rocks at intervals which added interest. On a clear day you can see Harlech castle on the opposite shore.

I didn't see any signs saying they couldn't go on the beach. Also there were dogs there when I was there.
