Noticed that they now have a new building housing an inshore RIB and its pickup truck. The lifeboat was pushed into the sea by a small tractor a bit like an aircraft tug; it reminded me of Bridlington in Yorkshire.

You never know when you might need the services of the RNLI, so we always buy a few items. The kids got a toy each, tea towel for hubby and a magnet for me!

Bought some great gifts and also supported the amazing work of the RNLI - helpful and friendly volunteers and a peep at the lifeboat if its not out on a shout

Visited with family and dogs today. More than happy to support such a valuable cause. Small station but still great to find out all about your local RNLI.

Great small local lifeboat station, staff very friendly and approachable - watch out for the regular launch drills each Thursday (late) afternoon

All the staff were friendly and we had a lovely short visit on route to our holiday destination. Well worth a visit. Best RNLI shop to date!

Time we were visiting the lifeboat was launched. Very well organised. The lifeboat soon set off on its mission, with plenty of helpers. Very impressed.

You can see the boat and there’s a little shop attached. Worth a visit if you are passing. And it’s a good cause.

Yes,we took a dog in but I agree with the other answer, it is such a small building it is easy to tie the dog up outside.
