A great place to go walking. Great for children, my two love it. Dogs are welcome just make sure you pick up their poo and keep the place nice. Lovely little cafe and car parking available.

Although it is relatively small, this is a wonderful area. Go early, or late, to miss all the people who go at the weekend, and it is such a peaceful place to walk.

I’m very sorry I couldn’t answer this in time and I know it’s probably no use to you but as the weather has been like this non stop it does mean that the river will be dried out.
