pyb has something to offer every person who is interested in the outdoors from beginners upwards also the kayaking/canoeing in a safe environment.....the food is great and the reassurance from the instructors is great for the confidence

Location is good, close to lots of starting points for walks. It’s not far from the Moel Siabod Cafe. There are 2 outdoor shops just up the road in case you need to buy anything but better value stuff is available in nearby Betws-y-Coed.
Just returned from a scrambling weekend at Plas y brenin and I cant recommend this place enough.
The scrambling was well organised, we had two experienced instructors with us over the 2 days, who were so patient and supportive and full of enthusiasm.
There were five of us that stayed here for two nights as we had planned to climb a few mountains over the weekend.
